The workshop

As the web continues to change rapidly and become more complex, thinking of it in terms of static pages has become untenable, and many of us have started to approach design in a more systemic way. But when it comes to thinking in systems it's not always clear how the core UX concepts—user goals, needs and behaviours, are embodied in design patterns we create. How do we make sure that by thinking about structure and modules we don't lose sight of the system as a whole? How do we strike the right balance between reusability and creative exploration, consistency and brand?

This workshop is for designers, UX practitioners, as well as front-end developers who are seeking to approach their design process in a more systemic way, without losing the essence of what the product is about.

  • I found the workshop really useful, it showed me way's to handle the problems I experience in my daily work. It also showed me I still got a lot to learn and to do. Which is great by the way, never to old to learn.”

  • Alla's full-day workshop was excellent. It really brought me to the next level."
